Open Question: What's the current cost of living in Korea now?

29 July 2010, 11:38 pm

I think I've asked this like, 3 times already? but I'm not getting any answers.. anyways, these are my questions, hope you can answer as much as possible :) 1. I want to live in Kangnam or Cheongdam (preferably Kangnam). Yes i know it's very expensive to live there but still, I'd like to live there, so how much would it cost to rent an apartment there? anywhere from 1-3 rooms with at least 2 bathrooms. 2. How much would the living expenses be per month? I mean, internet, food/groceries, telephone (estimated, if i don't call that much), shopping every once in a while (at like, namdaemun or something), transportation, etc. Hmm, I'd like to ask also some tips about how it would be like to live in Korea? I mean, Koreans living in Korea are different from Koreans living abroad, so I'd like to know some what-to-do's and some what-not-to-do's especially around older Koreans. and other things i should know to fit in? i mean like, how thin should i be (so that i won't stand out too much, i mean, i probably will since i don't look korean, but i don't wanna stand out because i'm fat). i'm pretty short. maybe 156? 157cm? that's 5ft something... sorry i dunno how to convert that. By the way, please take in mind when answering that I am only a student, just turned 17 last July. Going to be entering University this coming 2011. ^^ Lastly, random question. Do you happen to know in what area in Seoul Super Junior lives? :)) Yeah, I'm a fan. not a sasaeng fan though! Just wondering. I know not everyone knows their dorm address, so i just wanna know if anyone knows at least what area. like, if they're in apgujeong, or you know.. like that. :) thanks to everyone who helps ^^...
